The following outreach activities are currently being planned.

MPDC will conduct a workshop on March 24, 2006 at The Cornell University Professional Development Day for Math, Science, and Technology Teachers. Teachers in grades 5-12 attend these workshops to gain information, applications and concepts they can later apply in the classroom. Our workshop is entitled `Engineering materials: From atoms to applications' and will be conducted with participation of all MPDC graduate students. For more information, please contact N. Zabaras.
